Bright Eyes in St Blazey
Bright Eyes in St Blazey - Where Learning is fun!
Our Ethos
Bright Eyes leads to Bright Beginnings. We build positive relationships with our Families. Providing flexibility and trust. Our team are always there to protect, nurture and to also build relationships with each child. Children are encouraged to build self-confidence and independence through individual interests and development needs. Environments are calming and neutral, providing a safe and happy place to learn and play.
Nursery Overview
Bright Eyes in St Blazey was opened in November 2020 and we have been lucky enough to expand into our new Pre-school room in February 2023 due to the childcare needs of the local area.
We are situated in a small town, with easy access routes to Fowey and St Austell. We offer a warm and friendly environment for children aged between 0-11 years. Including wrap around care and holiday club. The nursery is in a shared building and makes up part of The Burrows Centre, a family friendly community centre. The nursery is securely positioned to both sides of the building. All rooms can take advantage of easy access to our garden areas.
The Curiosity Approach
We are proud to recently announce that our nursery is working towards the Curiosity Approach official Accreditation. This is a project our team have been passionate about for the last year or so. We believe in sustainability, recycling and reusing. Our rooms are light, airy and of a neutral design. Our staff are experienced, passionate and dedicated to all areas of children’s learning.
The nursery is divided into 4 rooms – Blossom Room (Under 2’s), Bluebells Room (Over 2’s), Buttercups Room (Over 2’s) and our Pre-School Room. Our Pre-School room is also home to our Bright Stars. These children attend before and after school from Biscovey Infants & Academy School and children from many local schools attend throughout the holidays.
Bright Beginnings
Bright Beginnings is a programme dedicated to our Pre-School children. This programme is supported by our local EYFS teachers.
The children in Pre-School begin their Bright Beginnings journey in the term before they transition to school.
