At Bright Eyes in the Clays, we thrive on learning through play, where children follow a fantastic curriculum promoting discovery, exploration and adventure enabling your children to settle in quickly and make new friends.
We will make sure your child feels safe, happy and comfortable during their time with us - we only employ high quality, appropriately trained professional nursery practitioners who are skilled and experienced in caring for and supporting the learning and development of your child. After all, we believe that every child should be given equal opportunities to learn, develop and play.
Bright Eyes provides a range of spaces and resources for the children to learn, explore and test out ideas and enable them to use their imaginations. We have quiet cosy areas to relax and look through our favourite books, areas to test ideas and use our imagination, which spark and extend our communication.
Our diverse team within the nursery means individual cultures and backgrounds are celebrated and shared with the children in a natural way every day, and the children enjoy activities such as singing and reading stories in Spanish.
We also focus on our families, listening to our parents and children to help create a home from home environment where we are all part of the whole nursery, and one big family.
Ideally located in the middle of the clay villages, Bright Eyes in the Clays offers flexible, safe and educational childcare for parents and carers living or working in and around the St Stephens and surrounding areas.
We aim to create a naturally relaxing and supportive childcare environment that encourages your child to play, experiment, treasure, discover and learn how to grow and develop into happy and thriving children.

Our Sessions
Here at Bright Eyes Childcare we work with our parents to co-ordinate the best childcare at a reasonable price. Our fees include snacks and drinks where children will be with us for these times and include all in house activities. Please note any activities away from Bright Eyes Childcare may incur an extra fee.
We provide flexible hours on a first come first serve basis and parents will be invoiced for payment a week in arrears. We also accept children for casual sessions (where availability allows) however payment for this needs to be made prior to you dropping your child off. Payment can be made via funded childcare, childcare vouchers, tax free childcare, cash or by BACS.

- There are discounts available for siblings with 10% off the oldest child’s fees – offer available for full time places only
- Funded places are available for 2 year olds – for more information, including eligibility please click here.
- Funded places are also available for 3/4 year olds, up to 15 hours per week currently – for more information, including eligibility please contact us.
- Places for children claiming 30 hours of funding are available, for more information, including eligibility please click here.
- We will be offering the Government Tax-free Childcare System. For every £8 a parent pays into their childcare account, the government will pay in an extra £2. Parents can get up to £2,000 government support per child per year towards their childcare costs. To find out more information, including eligibility please click here.
- Additional funding is also available in the form of Early Years Pupil Premium funding which entitles the setting to apply for further funding of up to £300 per year to enrich your child’s learning through providing new resources, staff training, additional support and new play or learning experiences. Our staff are all committed and hardworking with a motivation to see the children strive and grow both physically and academically whilst with us at Bright Eyes Childcare. Our team have been hand selected and are all unique, contributing to Bright Eyes in different ways making our service the best it can be for you and your child care needs.
All staff have Paediatric First Aid training, food hygiene and level 2 or above safeguarding training.

Opening Hours
We also operate a drop in facility where parents can drop their children in for an ad hoc session if requires and availability allows. Payment for our casual sessions needs to be made prior to the session commencing.
