Bright Eyes in the Town - Where Learning is fun!

At Bright Eyes in the Town, we aim to support your child through their growth and development journey providing support and education along the way. We pride ourselves in offering a warm, friendly environment which enables children to learn and develop whilst feeling safe and secure. With a range of activities and learning journeys to explore your child’s strengths, we aim to develop each child at their own pace, in their own learning style. From messy play to forest and beach school activities there is something for every child with us at Bright Eyes!

Bright Eyes Childcare is a childcare provider for children from Birth up to 8 years of age. With a day care childcare system we offer childcare for full days, morning or afternoon sessions and holiday club. We have a wide and varied range of activities in our learning programmes for children of all ages.

We are ideally located in the St Austell Town offering flexible, safe and kind childcare for parents and carers living or working in and around St Austell and surrounding areas. With a short walk from bus and train stations we can offer an accessible provision for all requirements.

We aim to create a naturally relaxing and supportive childcare environment that encourages your child to play, experiment, treasure, discover and learn how to grow and develop into happy and thriving children.

Our Sessions

Here at Bright Eyes Childcare we work with our parents to co-ordinate the best childcare at a reasonable price. Our fees include snacks and drinks where children will be with us for these times and include all in house activities. Please note any activities away from Bright Eyes Childcare may incur an extra fee.

We do also accept children for casual sessions (where availability allows) however payment for this needs to be made prior to you dropping your child off. Payment can be made via funded childcare, childcare vouchers, tax free childcare, cash or by BACS.

There are discounts available for siblings with 10% off the oldest child’s fees – offer available for full time places only
Funded places are available for 2 year olds – for more information, including eligibility please click here.
Funded places are also available for 3/4 year olds, up to 15 hours per week currently – for more information, including eligibility please contact us.

We will be offering the Government Tax-free Childcare System. For every £8 a parent pays into their childcare account, the government will pay in an extra £2. Parents can get up to £2,000 government support per child per year towards their childcare costs. To find out more information, including eligibility please click here.
Additional funding is also available in the form of Early Years Pupil Premium funding which entitles the setting to apply for further funding of up to £300 per year to enrich your child’s learning through providing new resources, staff training, additional support and new play or learning experiences. Absolutely love bright eyes! My little boy also loves it and is doing so well. So much outdoor space! And the chance to go for walks along clay trails, into town, down to the park. The staff are so lovely and do so much with the kids.

Absolutely love this nursery and preschool! My little girl has been there since 2015 and has just gone up to preschool. She adores the staff, who are very approachable and extremely helpful and kind. The meals and snacks are varied and prepared on site (included in price). Activities for each age group are appropriate, fun and educational. I love the eylog they use for parents to view pictures and their Facebook page is always up to date and monthly newsletters are informal. This nursery/preschool includes the whole family in fun activities throughout the year. I highly recommend Bright Eyes to all parents and I know we will be very sad when my little girl has to leave to go to school.

Bright eyes (Town Setting) is excellent for children who love the outdoors. There are 3 outside areas, the main garden is very large and a real treat for little ones. The staff are all every pleasant and The Manager is great, very hands on, approachable and has a good relationship with everyone. I've used several nurseries in the past and this one in my opinion is the best.

I cannot rate Bright Eyes highly enough as a nursery setting. I have a child in each room and every single member of staff have gone above and beyond to help my children fit in and feel comfortable. The facilities and spaces for the children are fantastic and there are always a range of activities on offer. I feel happy leaving my children here knowing they are safe and well cared for and recommend them to anyone.

I would not hesitate in recommending Bright Eyes Childcare. They look after my two sons, and they do the most amazing job, especially with my youngest, who has had several reactions whilst in their care. He has allergies, and they have been fantastic at dealing with the reactions, and I feel completely at ease leaving him in their care.

Opening hours

We also operate a drop in facility where parents can drop their child in for an ad hoc session if required and availability allows. Payment for our casual sessions needs to be made prior to the session commencing.
